Before candidates are submitted to any positions they have been thoroughly interviewed and assessed for suitability of employment by one of our experienced consultants. All candidates requiring temporary work have two references taken up before they are submitted for any suitable roles.

Advertised Appointments
The majority of senior management appointments are filled from targeted advertising. Based on the client's brief, ASA will organise and agree the budget, copywriting, artwork and media selection, followed by the response handling, interviewing and short listing.

Candidate Register
ASA invests considerable resources in building and maintaining a computerised database of candidates, some of whom will be registered exclusively with ASA. At junior levels, a file search will often be sufficient to fill an appointment. At more senior levels, the file search supplements the response to advertising or search.

Executive Search
Particularly senior, sensitive or specialist appointments may require to be searched. The search process involves three distinct stages:

• defining the target
• researching the field and making the approaches
• interviewing, selecting and negotiating with the favoured candidate(s)

Depending on specific requirements the name of our client may not be made known to anyone other than the short listed candidates.
