The Finance Director of the Year Awards represent the most prestigious accolades available to Finance Directors in Scotland

The Judging Panel for the 2010 Awards were:

Glenn Allison is MD of the Stewart Milne Group and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining SMG in 1989 he was Financial Director of Cala Homes Scotland. Glenn is the current Vice-Chairman of CBI Scotland.
George Black is Chief Executive of Glasgow City Council, the largest local authority in Scotland. Glasgow City Council has taken forward a service reform and efficiency programme establishing a number of external arms length organisation, in the last few years. As Chief Executive, George is a member of the Glasgow 2014 Strategic Group and Chair of the Glasgow 2014 City Planning Group.
Frank Blin a senior partner with PWC, leads its UK Regional practice and chairs its Scottish management board. An insolvency and corporate finance specialist he also leads relationships with several major clients. He is also chairman of the Scottish Enterprise Investment Funds.
Donald Kerr has responsibility for leading the combined Bank of Scotland and Lloyds TSB Commercial business in Scotland, serving the SME community. Donald joined the bank after graduating from the University of Glasgow. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
Iain Moir is Managing Director of ASA Recruitment.
John Richards is Group Finance Director, The Miller Group. John joined the Group in 1987. He was appointed to the Board in 1994 as Group Finance Director. He is a Non-Executive Director of Aberforth Geared Capital and Income Trust.
